Sale Transaction Closing Announcement

Strategic Advisors is pleased to announce the closing of the sale of Iron City Express, Inc. to GPB Waste OH, LLC which is a platform backed by GPB Capital. Strategic Advisors served as exclusive sell-side advisor to the owner of Iron City Express.

Iron City Express, located in Crescent Township, PA, is a regional provider of specialized hauling and disposal services. It is focused in the commercial and demolition (C&D) marketplace and specializes in the hauling of roll- off containers and tractor-trailers. The Company offers its customers a large, diverse fleet of well-maintained equipment, recycling services via its fully permitted recycling/sorting facility, and prompt pickup and delivery services. The Company, founded in 1990, is one of the larger providers of these services in their market area.

GPB Waste OH is a newly-formed entity created to effectuate the purchase of Iron City Express and two other waste management companies located in Ohio. Funds for the transaction were provided by GPB Capital, a New York-based alternative asset management firm focusing on acquiring income-producing private companies. GPB Capital provides their portfolio companies with the strategic planning, managerial insight, and capital needed to enable strong businesses to achieve the next level of growth and profitability.
