Sale Transaction Closing Announcement

Strategic Advisors, Inc. is pleased to announce the closing of the sale of Asset Auctions to AssetNation, a portfolio company of Spire Capital Partners in November 2008. Strategic Advisors originated the transaction and served as exclusive financial advisor to Asset Auction.

Asset Auctions ran their first online equipment auction for General Motors in 1998, and has conducted thousands of worldwide asset sales. The Company currently has offices in Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Los Angeles, Austin, Detroit and Mexico City. Asset Auctions provides a complete suite of Asset Transition services including internal asset redeployment, appraisal and valuation services, complete auction services (online, onsite & webcast), liquidation and private sales and complete project management for plant closures.

The Company’s revenue and EBITDA have grown significantly over the past several years primarily driven by its online surplus assets recovery solutions. Management felt this growth could be accelerated by partnering with a firm that possesses strategic merit and expertise to help achieve their targeted growth.
