CME Management, LLC & Related Entities acquired by Apex Companies, LLC

Strategic Advisors is pleased to announce the closing of the sale of CME Management, LLC and the related entities (”CME”) to Apex Companies, LLC (“Apex”). The transaction was finalized in September 2021.

CME, with office locations in Somerset and Greensburg, PA, provides civil, mining, water, wastewater, power, and construction engineering services; water and wastewater treatment operations; as well as permitting, surveying (traditional and drone), and construction testing and inspection to a diversified clientele base. The Company, with a strong presence in the Mid-Atlantic, has licensed engineers and water treatment plant operators that can operate in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, and New Jersey. Founded in 1999, the Company has leveraged its operational discipline and their industry relations to establish t an excellent reputation in the region.

Apex, founded in 1988, is headquartered in Rockville, Maryland and operates nationally through 45 offices with approximately 900 professionals, consisting of geologists, hydrogeologists, engineers, environmental scientists, industrial hygienists, health & safety specialists, and field technicians. The combination of the two companies will benefit from their highly complementary offerings.
