Gerad Greco, Analyst with Strategic Advisors, has served clients in a variety of capacities and industries over the course of his career. Gerad initiated his career in tax/accounting services at Holsinger PC, where he was a Staff Tax Accountant assisting a multitude of individuals and businesses in accurate and insightful tax return preparation and tax strategy consultation. During his time with Holsinger, Gerad also led various tax projects for the organization, including execution of various Cost Segregation and Research and Development analyses to help businesses recognize real, inherent tax benefits from preexisting investments in tangible and intangible assets.
Gerad’s consultative interests in maximizing value for business owners and learned expertise in accounting practices and procedures led him to a desire to elevate his impact to all strategic advisory outlets available to business owners. As a result, in 2021, Gerad transitioned from Holsinger, Strategic Advisors’ sister-company accounting firm, to join the Strategic team as a critical member providing merger & acquisitions, corporate finance, and strategic advisory services. With a strong interest in finance, accounting, and statistical analysis, combined with the wide skillset developed in his early career, Gerad offers great value to the team with his optimistic, eager approach to diligently take on the rapid pace of new and exciting challenges for business owners desiring to create, build, and realize value.
During his collegiate career, Gerad served as student representative on the board of trustees at the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC), as well as playing on the golf team. Upon transferring to Slippery Rock University to complete his undergraduate degree, Gerad became an active member of the Accounting and Actuarial Sciences Club, along with being the Men’s Ministry Leader for the Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru). Gerad now holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Slippery Rock University with applicable minors in Statistics and Actuarial Sciences, yet continues his career education while actively pursuing his certified public accountant (CPA) certification.
Gerad resides just outside of the city of Pittsburgh, being an avid fan of Pittsburgh sports, golf, and music.
